Building a Kingdom Family Conference - October 6th-8th

David Teis and Family
Dr. David Teis was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. After completing
college, in 1977, in Virginia he and his new bride, Anna, returned to Las
Vegas with a desire to plant a Bible-believing Baptist church. After
securing a location for a new church, the newlyweds spent the next eight
weeks knocking on 100 doors a day. Liberty Baptist Church began in 1977, and
after just six weeks was self-supporting. The first Sunday 68 people
attended services.
Today, hundreds of families call Liberty Baptist Church home. Thousands of
individuals have trusted Christ as Savior. Liberty Baptist Church gives
hundreds of thousands of dollars towards worldwide missions each year.
Liberty Baptist Church has also been involved in helping plant six new
independent Baptist churches in the Las Vegas valley. Liberty Baptist Church
currently runs over 900 people on Sunday morning and has over 1,000 souls
on our membership rolls.
Pastor and Mrs. Teis have five children who are all faithfully serving the
Lord and nineteen grandchildren that are being raised for God’s Kingdom.
